- At Catholic Medical Center, we’ve strengthened our care teams by adding new providers to our medical staff in specialties including midwifery, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery and neonatology.
- At Parkland Medical Center, our clinical teams deliver high-quality, advanced care to the greater Derry region and nearby communities. We offer advanced technologies and programming for a number of services including spine care, orthopedics and cardiology. Additionally, we have expanded access to emergency care with a freestanding ER in Plaistow, and in Salem (coming in 2027).
- At Portsmouth Regional Hospital, we work hard to provide the high-quality care that our patients want and expect from us, including being the only Comprehensive Stroke Center and only Level II trauma center on the Seacoast. We have added Radiation Therapy to expand our oncology services, and we are the second hospital in New Hampshire to implement the state’s new TeamBirth protocol, ensuring seamless communications for our moms and littlest patients.

After recognizing the warning signs of a stroke, Timothy Harvey and his wife acted quickly and called 911, allowing him to receive timely treatment that helped restore mobility and improve his recovery. His story highlights the importance of recognizing stroke symptoms, seeking emergency care immediately and the impact rapid intervention can have on patient outcomes.

Patient profile: Father Paul — A story of healing, faith and renewal
At 75, Father Paul survived a life-threatening gastrointestinal bleed and multiple myeloma diagnosis, followed a year later by emergency double bypass surgery, crediting both medical care and constant support from his faith community for his recovery.
Parkland patient saved from dangerous blood clot days before his wedding
Just four days before his wedding, Tom Mahan underwent a DVT thrombectomy, a minimally invasive procedure designed to remove a clot and restore proper blood flow. Tom said, "the Parkland team saved the day and the start of the rest of our lives together."

Catholic Medical Center announced a $250,000 contribution to the Mark Stebbins Community Center to provide collaborative services to build stronger families and brighter futures for children on the West Side of Manchester. The Community Center is a 20,000-square-foot, multipurpose social services hub that will bring multiple nonprofit organizations together under one roof in a central, accessible location, including anchor tenants such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester and Amoskeag Health.
Portsmouth Regional Hospital announced a $25,000 grant from the HCA Healthcare Foundation to Connor’s Climb Foundation to expand access to suicide prevention education and ensure more students and adults are equipped to recognize warning signs and respond with life-saving intervention.
Portsmouth Regional Hospital announced that the HCA Healthcare Foundation has awarded a second $25,000 grant to Gather, doubling the Foundation's total support to $50,000 to expand access to healthy food for individuals and families across the Seacoast.
Catholic Medical Center has announced a $50,000 gift to The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester to expand its perinatal and postpartum mental health services, particularly for underserved populations and low-income families in the region.

In 2026, Catholic Medical Center new freestanding emergency room opened bringing 24/7 life-saving emergency care to Nashua and surrounding communities.
In 2025, Frisbie Memorial Hospital opened its second outpatient adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Gilford, designed to help individuals develop and apply new strategies for managing their mental health. With this addition, Frisbie, Parkland and Portsmouth now offer a total of six intensive outpatient programs, including five partial hospitalization programs and one eating disorder program.
In 2025, Catholic Medical Center launches New England Midwifery, a full-scope women’s health practice.
In partnership with Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Frisbie Memorial Hospital opens a sleep lab in Rochester in 2025. The facility offers comprehensive sleep studies in a comfortable home-like setting, with the option for at-home testing, when appropriate.
In 2025, Portsmouth Regional Hospital opens a hybrid cardiovascular operating suite, enabling seamless transition between minimally invasive procedures, catheter-based interventions and complex surgery.
In 2025, Frisbie Memorial Hospital opens its second outpatient adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Gilford, designed to help individuals develop and apply new strategies for coping for managing mental health.
Portsmouth Regional Hospital expanded its cancer services with a new radiation oncology program in 2024. The expansion will help the hospital to provide cancer patients with full-service cancer care, from diagnosis to surgical and medical treatment options, including chemotherapy and radiation.
In 2024, Parkland Medical Center opened its second outpatient adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), designed to help individuals develop and incorporate new strategies for coping with mental health. Between Frisbie, Parkland and Portsmouth hospitals, there are now five PHPs in New Hampshire.
Frisbie Memorial Hospital opened a new inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit in 2023, providing high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy for some of the most severaly ill and injured patients in the region.
In July 2022, Frisbie Memorial Hospital opened a behavioral health pod in its emergency department, providing patients with access to care for conditions such as depression, anxiety and other mental health issues in a setting designed to best meet behavioral health and emergency medical needs and reduce ER wait times.
In March 2022, Frisbie Memorial Hospital opened its new Breast Imaging Center. The Breast Imaging Center uses state-of-the-art technology with improved diagnostic accuracy to detect breast cancer at its earliest stages.
